According to local
tradition and culture, it is customary to take home omiyage,
or gifts, so that you can share a part of where you were visiting with
family and friends.
Whether it is sour dough bread from San Francisco, taro chips from the Big Island, Moloka‘i bread, or cookies from Kaua‘i, share some with loved ones back home. Maui has it's own favorites Home Maid Bakery's manju, mochi, sweet bread rolls, taro rolls, and cookies. Don’t miss our chichi
dango and other ethnic delights.

The crispy manju
is a favorite. With a delicate and flaky crust and luscious fruit
fillings like sweet azuki beans, apple,
coconut, peach, pineapple, or imo
(purple sweet potato).
For those new to this delicious treat, its
like eating a mini pie! Try warming it up in the toaster oven for
a just-baked taste!

Our velvety smooth mochi
(pounded rice cake) is filled with sweet azuki
beans, creamy peanut butter, or coconut. The peanut butter mochi is
featured here...a great combination of savory sweetness! |

Our cookies are made with real butter, island
fresh eggs, and other high quality ingredients that make them a
must-take-home item. Try all the flavors: almond, chocolate chip

Pandesal rolls are a local favorite! Great
for dinner time or for breakfast. Try it lightly toasted with melted
cheese! Kids love it with peanut butter and jelly, too! |
 |
These Taro rolls are so soft and fluffy!
Spread on some soft butter and dinner never tasted so good! |
 |
Our own Maui Crunch Bread is a popular
choice, made with sunflower seeds, whole grains and no preservatives.
Flavorful and wholesome, it will enhance any sandwich! |
 |
Chichi Dango
is a Japanese treat similar to mochi,
but slightly sweeter. Traditionally, it is served on Girls' or Boys'
Day. Also available in tropical flavors. |
 |
Experience this unusually good dessert! It's much like a sticky
brownie, but not as sweet. It's chocolate mochi!
Another similar treat is buttery smooth bibingka,
a Filipino dessert also called Butter Mochi.
